If you’ve been following us on Instagram for awhile, you know our love for Hunter Fan Co and their amazing products, and their new Aerodyne ceiling fan is no exception!

First, a little back story. We live in Central Florida, and it gets HOT here in the summer, so powerful ceiling fans are an absolute must for us, and our old ceiling fan in our main living room just wasn’t cutting it anymore. It wasn’t powerful enough to cool down our living room, which is a rather large, open space, so we were on the hunt for a more powerful, upgraded ceiling fan. We have two other Hunter ceiling fans in our home, so it was an obvious choice to look there for our new fan!

We came across their new Aerodyne 52” ceiling fan, and absolutely loved all of the features it offers! The two biggest sellers for us was the SureSpeed® Guarantee and SIMPLEconnect® Wi-Fi® technology. Thats right, its a SMART ceiling fan, who knew those existed?! Hunter Fans really pulled out all the stops on this ceiling fan! The Aerodyne fan has a matte, sleek design, that is the perfect touch to help our living transition to the more modern side of modern farmhouse! We got the matte black finish, but it also comes in a matte silver!

The Aerodyne smart fan delivers optimized, high-speed cooling with the tap of your smart phone or voice command to your smart device, which means you can control it through Hunter’s SIMPLEconnect app, your Amazon Alexa device, your Google Assistant, or your Apple HomeKit-which is what we use! It even comes with a handheld remote to control the different speed settings and the LED light. With the SIMPLEconnect feature you can control your fan from anywhere in your home, including the ability to set timers for the fan and light, how cool! Hunter Fan Co developed their SureSpeed® technology to ensure their fans deliver high airflow velocity while maintaining quiet, wobble-free performance, and they also have 20% higher airflow velocity than other leading competitors. It has a 4-speed, WhisperWind reversible motor for optimal performance in summer and winter, which can also be done via WiFi, so no need to climb up to adjust on the fan, you can do it right on your phone! The Aerodyne 52” fan is also made for larger rooms, so all of these features combined were perfect for our open concept living room!

Every time Ryan installs a Hunter ceiling fan, he always comments on how simple and user friendly the installation and instructions are. His favorite thing to say is “Why can’t every fan or light fixture be THIS easy to install?!” but thats just what sets Hunter Fan Company apart from the rest! Ryan is always so excited when I tell him we’re working with Hunter, because he knows he’s in for an easy project, haha! Hunter even provides everything you need to install the fan, including 3 inch and 2 inch downrods, as well as LED light bulbs and batteries for the remote! We had the old fan removed and the new one installed within 30 minutes, Ryan is kind of a professional at this point, and as soon as we got it turned on, we were BLOWN AWAY (almost literally!) We could instantly tell a difference between the velocity of our old ceiling fan and the Aerodyne fan, and were so impressed with the air flow from the fan! The Aerodyne fan not only looks good, but works good as well!
