Pfister Faucets

This post and the products represented in it were provided to us as a partnership with Pfister, but the opinions stated in this post are our own.

If you followed our progress through the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge last month than you know we partnered with Pfister Faucets to help renovate our guest bathroom! Participating in the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge was a blessing and we learned so much, so even though we did not win, we consider ourselves winners because we have a beautiful new bathroom!

Our main goal behind everything we do to our home is to add character and replace builder-grade features when we can, so when Pfister wanted to partner with us for this competition, of course we said yes! We first fell in love with Pfister when we purchased one of their faucets for a different bathroom, and we were amazed at the quality and the ease of installation. But, Pfister is more than just sink and bath faucets, they have towel rings, robe hooks, toilet paper holders, pot fillers, and so much more, and in a number of different finishes!

For our bathroom renovation we decided to go with all matte black finishes to give the space a sleek, modern look. Pfister has some really great matte black products, which for some reason are few and far between with most faucet companies, we were very pleased with their selection.

Our Selections

We went with centerset faucets for both of the sinks because thats what we had there before, and the style we chose was the Karci 2-Handle 4″ Centerset Bathroom Faucet in matte black. This style is modern, has bold lines, and is elegant in only a way bathroom faucets can be 😉 Their faucets are made of all metal so they are sturdy and are made with their Spot Defense formula which provides extra protection to help prevent the daily buildup of fingerprints and water spots, which with our old chrome faucets was a huge issue.

We wanted to keep the faucets cohesive in the bathroom, so for the tub/shower combo we chose the Karci 1-Handle Tub & Shower Trim in matte black. Ryan and I were both shocked when we opened the box, and we instantly agreed this was the nicest tub faucet we have ever owned- its the little things in life, haha. This faucet was seriously awesome quality, heavy duty, sleek and the perfect contrast for our shower tile. This kit includes the complete trim and valve, a three function shower head, and Pfisters trademarked Forever Seal which is their advanced ceramic disc valve technology with a never leak guarantee.

What sold us

Two HUGE selling factors for us were Pfister faucets trademarked features, their Push & Seal and TiteSeal technologies. Push & Seal refers to how you open and close the drain on a sink which requires no tools and installs in less than half the time of a standard pop-up drain, it has a guaranteed tight seal each and every use, you just push to seal and again to open-so cool right?! All of their faucets come with their Push & Seal drains.

The other awesome feature, TiteSeal is on the bottom of the sink faucet deckplate and eliminates the need for putty or silicone and simplifies installation. You don’t need to seal the faucet to the countertop, or do anything, you just install it and your done! This makes installation so easy that I could have totally done it without Ryan’s help! I know it can be intimidating to replace faucets and renovate a space, but Pfister makes it SO easy for you to install their faucets, that it will be the easiest part of any bathroom renovation!

But wait, theres more!

Remember when I said Pfister doesn’t just sell faucets?! Well we decided to utilize their awesome selection of bathroom accessories for our renovation, and I’m so happy we did! Since all of our faucets were matte black, as well as our cabinet handles, light fixtures and mirrors (I guess you can say I have a thing for matte black finishes) we decided to keep all of the other accessories the same. Pfister has accessories that match most of their faucet styles, so they do sell Karci accessories, but we decided not to go with that style. Instead, we chose their Contempra style accessories because they were very similar looking to our cabinet handles, and we thought they would tie in with the rest of the bathroom more.

We decided to put two towel rings in the bathroom, something we didn’t have before, one next to each sink for hand towels, and we chose the Contempra Towel Ring. The Contempra collection of bath products incorporates clean contemporary lines for a very modern presence, which is exactly what we were going for in this space. We also added in one of the Contempra 24″ Towel Bar so our guests can have a spot to hang their bath towels and the Contempra Paper Holder. All of these items are such great quality, heavy duty, and the perfect complimenting accessories to our faucets! They were all so easy to install, and came with all of the hardware needed to do so.

Sister, Sister!

Pfister also has a sister company, Kwikset, and we chose one of their products to use for the renovation as well. We wanted to replace the brushed nickel door handle for the door in-between the shower/toilet room and the main bathroom area with a matte black one to match our other selections. We went with Kwikset’s Milan Lever (Round) – Bed/Bath in their iron black finish. It has a locking mechanism and was easy to install and only took a couple of minutes. We eventually want to change all of our door handles in our home to these levers, they add great contrast and sophistication to our doors!

Overall, we have loved working with Pfister Faucets and we truly love their products and are continuously impressed with them. Their products were perfect for our bathroom renovation and evaluated the space with their modern style, we couldn’t be happier with our selections! Definitely go check out all of their products on their website, or if you would like to see them in person, they are sold in store at Lowe’s!
